Beverages and Bewilderment

Excerpted from their famous CLIPP (Certified Living In Place) training program., except you will furnish your favorite unopened beverage and pre-packaged snacks. It will be an event that will prove be very memorable by everyone!

Dinner and Drinks with Dacor

Broadcasting from Dacor’s Manhattan Kitchen showroom, Dacor's chef will introduce several recipes that are part of the Dacor smart oven library and Mixologist Matthew Morrison will entertain us with great drink pairings to accompany those dishes. 

 

Matt Morrison is a mixologist and bartender based out of Brooklyn.  Originally from Minneapolis Minnesota, Matt has worked at exciting New York nightlife destinations The Half King, Harry's downtown and Common Ground.  Matt is currently the head bartender and cocktail designer at Juliette restaurant, a Williamsburg institution.  Before moving to New York, Matt grew up working for James Beard award winner Ann Kim, of Young Joni and Pizzeria Lola in Minnesota.

Even today, a large percentage of the food supply is wasted, despite modern refrigeration technologies. This course will explore the history of food preservation and the evolution of kitchen appliances, including those that are specifically designed with new technologies to optimize food preservation.
