Congratulations on completing another, we are sure, intensive academic year!
As you are working and enjoying the summer, be open to opportunities to learn more about the industries that supply the world of design. You might be able to visit a stone yard or quarry, and some factories and cabinet companies do offer tours.
Learning about the worlds that create the materials in the world of design can help you be more effective in your designing and in your interactions with customers. Our Manhattan Chapter meetings always include vendor training that takes place at our vendor showroom, networking, and fun!
