October Chapter Meeting with The Living in Place Institute

On October 22nd, the Manhattan Chapter virtually gathered at the showroom of Chapter Sponsor Gringer & Sons Appliances for a hilarious, highly enlightening presentation from The Living in Place Institute.

Co-founders Erik Listou (pictured above) and Louie Delaware led attendees on an interactive experience exploring the physical challenges faced by many, such as limited vision and physical abilities. Attendees received packets in advance of the meeting, with tools such as glasses and gloves and tape, so they could simulate these challenges personally.
