From the President

Fourth of July in New York is always a blast. If you caught the fireworks celebration you'll note that the creators outdid themselves in a spectacular four-boat firework display that brought the wow to the party. But the biggest blast of all this month was our annual Summer Social held on July 19th. Hosted and sponsored by Hafele America and Toto, these two showrooms provided two floors of food, music and fun for the eager participants. Pirate hats and eye patches made fun props for this treasure island night. Downstairs Toto had a steel drum player drumming out Caribbean tunes for dancing guests, while upstairs Hafele had a three- piece ensemble playing cool jazz. A treasure hunt helped the guests navigate through the two showrooms to learn more about the brands and their products. It was truly a memorable night with friends and colleagues we thank our design partners, IDS, IFDA and DFLNY for collaborating with us to make this night a success. Ahoy!

In August we have an event break, but in In September we'll have another exciting program where we will be discussing how to bring feng shui into your kitchen designs.
