The Sky's the Limit Challenge

Submissions are now open for the 2018-2019 NKBA Student Design Competition, sponsored by Cambria! This year’s competition, the “Sky’s the Limit! Challenge,” boasts a new twist: students are charged with designing a kitchen or a bathroom for a fictional, newly married couple in their 30s living in San Francisco. The space requires a modern-meets-earthy theme, the design must incorporate smart-home technology and designers must specify Cambria products as the countertop or another solid surface option.

Entrants in the “Sky’s the Limit” Challenge are competing for scholarship prizes: $5,000 for first place, $2,500 for second, and $1,000 for third. Winners will be recognized at the 2020 Kitchen & Bath Industry Show (KBIS) in Las Vegas, Jan. 21-23, 2020, where they’ll receive free admission to the show floor, access to the awards ceremony, airfare and lodging.

All who enter must be NKBA student members enrolled in an educational institution on the date of submission. For more details and information regarding qualifications, submissions, requirements and rules, click here.
