From the President

Another year is underway and the voting members of our Council will be heading to KBIS in a few short weeks. We will be attending training, visiting the booths of sponsors, and seeking out the new and noteworthy from the show floor to share with our members. It is a privilege to serve on the council and enjoy the opportunity to attend the show and network with the movers and shakers of our industry.

Our Council is always looking to add new members. Please reach out to one of us if you have any interest in getting involved. The experience is rewarding both professionally and personally! There are opportunities to meet all sorts of interesting people, learn new things, and enjoy great food! The opportunity to hone your leadership skills while being exposed to the most up-to-date products and philosophies in the industry is a great one—add to that the great food and wine, and the shop talk just blossoms! I know that I am grateful for the opportunities the NKBA has opened for me, and I encourage all of you to get more involved.

This past month we brought you a conversation with Chef Patricia Clark at Lineadecor. Coming up, we have an Eco Tour of NY NOW at the Javits Center, and a meeting at In House Kitchen Bath Home discussing the trends at KBIS 2019. We hope to see you there
