NKBA Manhattan's crew is back from KBIS and there is much to report!

First, it is with much gratitude to all of you that I accept the NKBA Star Chapter President of the Year Award for my work with the Manhattan Chapter! Your level of participation has been noticed by NKBA National and I truly appreciate you all. Our sponsor meetups and tours were also well received and I want to thank Kitty Dadi for all her work on Facebook Live as well as journaling the show with photos. Please check out the Facebook videos if you have not seen them yet.

Our sponsors had great new product on display and if you missed the show consider yourself lucky as we have so many great local showrooms here in NYC. Technology and sustainability continue to be the hot topics. These are no longer vague notions, there are now recognizable standards to help guide us with companies like Renovation

Angel and Control 4 leading the way. I had an opportunity to speak on several panels during the show as well. Innovations abound! I feel that both technology integration and the Living in Place philosophy will become trusted standards, making our lives easier to manage as time goes by.

Much of the product and the excitement of KBIS will be available locally at the Architectural Digest Design Show. Our Chapter will have a meet up point and visit our sponsor booths together, taking photos and doing FB Live. The invitation for member sign-up is forthcoming this week.
