SMEG, the Italian appliance manufacturer famed for its classic style and advanced technology, has reimagined its Linea Series with several modern touches, catering to needs of the thoughtful chef who does it all. The Linea Series encompasses new 24- and 30-inch Convection Ovens, a 24-inch Specialty Speed and Combi Steam Oven and a version of the new and reimagined “Classic” Coffee System in the Linea aesthetic. The collection will be offered in a modern Mystic Gray glass finish, and feature innovative touch controls.

For the first time in North America, SMEG ovens in the Linea Series will have 4-color TFT controls for optimal usability. All 24-inch oven products, as well as the 30-inch convection oven, will include a food-driven menu system containing 50 automatic programs to guide users who can also add 10 personalized programs.

Both of the re-engineered Speed and Combi Steam Compact Ovens now have a 30-percent larger interior cavity space and are coated with SMEG’s EverClean enamel interior, to keep the surface sparkling and easy to maintain. Each oven also has bottom heating elements.

The Speed Oven is now a three-in-one appliance, acting as a microwave and convection oven or by choosing an automatic program. Selecting particular automatic programs leverages both technologies to create culinary dishes even faster.

The Combi Steam Oven is another three-in-one appliance; however, rather than utilizing the microwave quality, it leverages steam technology. With the new internal steam generator and syphon system, users can load the correct volume of water at the start of the program by accessing the wand located on the inside right frame of the oven.
